Textile Engineer | Researcher | Medical & Technical Textiles Specialist – M.S. University, Baroda
I hold a Ph.D. in Textile Engineering and have over 10 years of industry experience working with
medical textiles, hygiene products, and sustainable textile technologies. In addition, I have 5 years of
experience in market research within service industries. My work focuses on creating innovative
healthcare textiles by developing practical and sustainable materials that help solve real health and
hygiene challenges.
Over the course of my career, I have focused on bridging the gap between fundamental textile
research and practical applications. This includes advancing sanitary hygiene solutions, antimicrobial
textile development, and promoting eco-friendly manufacturing processes. I have been involved in
product innovation, contract manufacturing, and OEM collaborations across healthcare and
technical textile sectors.
I am actively engaged with several professional organizations such as the Textile Society of America,
AATCC, Institution of Engineers (India), and the American Nano Society. Additionally, I contribute to
international scientific committees including the World Academy of Science, Engineering and
Technology (WASET) and the International Conference on Applied Human Factors and Ergonomics
(AHFE).
My passion lies in driving sustainable textile innovations that not only enhance product performance
but also improve health outcomes globally. I continue to dedicate myself to research, collaboration,
and development of advanced medical textile solutions that meet the evolving needs of our industry
and society.
