Anamika Sengupta

Anamika Sengupta is an accomplished sustainability leader with over two decades of
experience in the global textile and fashion industry, spanning technical innovation, raw
material strategy, and business development. A gold medalist in B.Tech Textile
Technology from the University of Calcutta, a Certified Sustainability Professional from
the London College of Fashion, and an accredited engineer in the UK, she has
collaborated with leading manufacturers and global retailers to drive transformative
solutions in fabric re-engineering, sustainable sourcing, and compliance.

As the Founder & CEO of Mindfully Sustainable Ltd, Anamika partners with fashion
businesses to accelerate their sustainability journeys by developing circular material
strategies, managing bulk-approved core fabric libraries, and implementing innovative
solutions to reduce ecological impacts. She has spearheaded digital sustainability
initiatives including PLM integration and traceability tools, enabling brands to meet
compliance with evolving EU and UK regulations. Her expertise lies at the intersection
of sustainability, compliance, and innovation, with proven collaborations bridging India
and the UK.

She is also an active mentor and guest lecturer, contributing to capacity building across
industry and academia. Through industry collaborations, she has facilitated India–UK
partnerships that successfully introduced low-impact materials into mainstream retail
supply chains, contributing to measurable reductions in carbon footprint and water use.

At Intexcon 2025, Anamika will share insights on “Navigating INDIA–UK FTA Through
Compliance Check Lenses”, focusing on critical regulatory frameworks such as the EU
Green Deal, Digital Product Passport (DPP), CBAM, REACH, Extended Producer
Responsibility (EPR) in the UK, and emerging compliance expectations from the UK
and Europe. She will highlight how India and the UK can collaborate through innovation,
capacity building, and shared sustainability commitments to unlock new opportunities in
global trade.
