Robert Antoshak has over 30 years of experience in the global fiber and textile industries. He works as Vice President of Global Strategic Sourcing & Development at Grey Matter Concepts, a men’s apparel company based in New York. Throughout his career, he has operated across the entire value chain and policy landscape, giving him insights into how raw material markets, manufacturing, sustainability, and trade regulations intersect.
He has held senior roles including editor of the Fiber Organon at the Fiber Economics Bureau; Director of International Trade at the American Fiber Manufacturers Association; Associate Director of International Trade at the American Textile Manufacturers; President of Trade Resources, Inc.; Vice President at Werner International; Managing Director of the Fibers & Textiles Division at INTL-FCStone, LLC; Managing Director at Olah Inc.; and, most recently, as Partner at the Gherzi Textile Organization.
Antoshak’s background includes marketing, mergers and acquisitions, sourcing, information services, and strategic planning. He also has trade-policy experience, serving as an FBI-clear industry adviser to the U.S. government on bilateral quota agreements, NAFTA, the MFA, and WTO issues.
Widely published, he contributes to various industry publications, including Just Style, Sourcing Journal, Textile Times, and Indian Textile Journal, and is often sought for insights on supply-chain resilience in a changing policy landscape.
